Death is Final ~BM

The smile curve wouldn’t move,
Nor would he,
It felt like a moment,
Where he would wake up,
Smile and say, I was asleep,
Were you awake?
But this one was different,
This one was deep,
This one was the one that stayed,
The smile curves-still,
The sheet, white,
The face, radiant,
Death, Final to the core!!

Dawn ~BM

Out came running feet,
This will be your new home,
The tiny tot refused,
Shrill cried the voice, “I won’t go to school…”

The journey to loving a teacher,
Is deep and beyond words,
It is pouring of emotions,
Patiently, every single day,
That develops the “I won’t” to “I will”

When the teacher gave up,
And complained,
The student gives up,
And a soul is lost, forever.

When the teacher grabs the hand,
No matter whether rain or sunshine,
And never gives up,
It is only then that the rainbow of hope streams,

It is only then that the tot finds a new home,
It is only then that a soul finds ways,
A journey of never-ending love,
Love for a mentor,
Love for life and the purpose to life!!

No Stand ~BM

How do I stand up?
I have no feet,
They said,
Do you have the will?
I said, I didn’t,
They left,
No hope was whispered,
I wondered,
If I had feet, If I had the will,
Still didn’t wish to stand up,
For my very own reasons,
Would there be hope?
Every soul has the right to dwell,
To feel, to stay, to do,
Things they feel right,
Standing up, is one such,
It comes from within,
Both the will, and the wish,
To Stand up !!
To fight for your own identity,
To be….just your own self.
Stand up only for yourself.

Of Dinosaur and Love ~BM

The endless prattle began,

Oh! I saw a HUGE dinosaur,

The instinctive next was a flying dragon,

The emotions of a child and that of an adult,

Are so alike,

One quests for dinosaurs,

The other for love,

Some exist, some don’t,

The reality of the tale,

The strong emotion of the moment,

Is what makes the dinosaur or love so powerful,

I had one too, a tale, a seven-year lost dinosaur !!

Everything Healthy Begins Within ~BM

Have you felt depressed beyond hope? Sometimes the entire being is sucked out with negative thoughts. After a good spot of self-inflicting pain, there is suddenly a tiny ray which says, “I’ve had enough.” You go either all out to pull out the plug, or you just pull yourself out from this situation, and things start turning up. Difficult, but possible.

Everything Healthy Begins within.

  1. Have an outlet: Write, Meditate, or go for a walk. Some activity, a positive outlet definitely helps.
  2. Ask for help: The first thing is to accept that there is a depression streak, so ask for help. Call up a friend, meet up folks. Socialising helps.
  3. Detach: Detach from negative habits and traits. If being on social media is not helping, stay away.
  4. Indulge in creating value: Time spent whiling away, is a waste. Try slowly to invest the same time into creating value. Read, Learn, Make a friend, Cook, and the list goes one.
  5. STOP self-inflicting actions: Actions in moments of anger can never bring any good, so say the wise, and it is definitely true. So, best to defer actions when you are angry, don’t say something hurtful, don’t do anything hurtful. Stay calm, plug off for a few days, return back to some state where you can make more rationale decisions, then act (positively)

So, next time you feel trapped, or feel helpless. Struggle all you can, run hard, very hard away from your own negative self-inflicting damages. Learn to create value, difficult, but possible, and yes Very Healthy.

A Safe Haven ~BM

That’s my corner,

It will always be there,

Nothing can destroy the calm,

Of the corner,

No wind, no storm !!

Some storms are evil,

They try, they win..momentarily,

But what wins in the end,

Is sanity of having the corner,

Just as it should be, calm, as always !!
